Elia Zendejas is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University. She completed a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with an emphasis in family and child development at California Lutheran University. Ms. Zendejas has experience working with individuals of all ages in community mental health and school-based settings. She specializes in treating individuals, who are suffering from depression, anxiety, or relationship difficulties. She has received training in cognitive-behavioral therapy, Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), Seeking Safety (trauma/PTSD and substance abuse), and as a sexual assault crisis counselor. Ms. Zendejas has served as an adjunct faculty member and a marriage and family therapist clinical supervisor at California Lutheran University. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Ms. Zendejas has 12 years of experience as a licensed marriage and family therapist. She is bicultural and fluent in Spanish.
