Emily Morales M.A., (she/her/ella) is currently completing her doctorate in clinical psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. Ms. Morales completed her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology at Argosy University, and received her Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Latino Studies with a focus on Immigration from the University of California Santa Cruz. Her doctoral research examined growth and transformation in adults ages 18-65 after a traumatic event. Ms. Morales completed a CAPIC-approved predoctoral internship at Pasadena City College’s Personal Counseling Services. Ms. Morales has provided services in community-based mental health settings for over 9 years. Her previous clinical experiences include working with children, adolescents, adults, families, LGBTQIA2S+ community, trauma, crisis support, and community resourcing. She has received training in trauma-informed care, solution-focused, and narrative therapy approaches. Ms. Morales is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the American Psychological Association, the Los Angeles County Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association of Graduate Students, and serves as the Vice-Chair of the California Psychology Internship Council. Ms. Morales is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist and is fluent in Spanish.
